Mercury
The Swift Messenger
The smallest planet in our solar system and the closest to the Sun. Mercury races around the Sun every 88 Earth days — hence its name after the fleet-footed Roman messenger god. Its surface is heavily cratered, resembling Earth's Moon, with temperatures swinging from −180°C at night to 430°C during the day.
Distance from Sun 57.9M km
Orbital Period 88 days

Venus
Earth's Evil Twin
Often called Earth's twin due to similar size, Venus is actually our solar system's hottest planet with surface temperatures reaching 465°C — hot enough to melt lead. Its thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide creates a runaway greenhouse effect, and it rotates so slowly that a day on Venus is longer than its year.
Distance from Sun 108.2M km
Surface Temp 465°C

Earth
The Blue Marble
The only known planet in the universe to harbour life. Earth's liquid water, protective atmosphere, and magnetic field create the perfect conditions for billions of species to thrive. Our planet's biodiversity is astonishing — from the deepest ocean trenches to the highest mountain peaks, life finds a way.
Distance from Sun 149.6M km
Orbital Period 365.25 days

Planet IV · The Red One
Mars
God of War
Mars is the most explored planet beyond Earth, home to the solar system's largest volcano — Olympus Mons — and the longest canyon system — Valles Marineris. Its red hue comes from iron oxide (rust) on the surface. Scientists believe Mars once had rivers, oceans, and possibly life billions of years ago.
Distance from Sun 227.9M km
Orbital Period 687 days

Planet V · The Giant
Jupiter
King of Planets
The largest planet in our solar system — so massive that all other planets could fit inside it with room to spare. Jupiter's Great Red Spot is a storm that has been raging for over 350 years. It has 95 known moons, including Europa which may harbor a subsurface ocean with potential for life.
Distance from Sun 778.5M km
Orbital Period 11.9 years
Moons 95
Planet VI · The Ringed
Saturn
Lord of the Rings
Saturn is the crown jewel of our solar system — its spectacular ring system stretches 282,000 km wide yet is barely 1 km thick. The rings are made of billions of ice chunks and rocks. Saturn is so low-density that it would float in water, making it the only planet in our solar system lighter than water.
Distance from Sun 1.43B km
Orbital Period 29.5 years
Moons 146
Planet VII · The Tilted
Uranus
The Sideways Planet
Uranus rolls around the Sun on its side — its axis is tilted at 98 degrees, meaning it orbits like a bowling ball. This gives Uranus the most extreme seasons in the solar system, where each pole experiences 42 years of continuous sunlight followed by 42 years of darkness. It's an ice giant made mostly of water, methane, and ammonia ice.
Distance from Sun 2.87B km
Orbital Period 84 years
Moons 28
Planet VIII · The Farthest
Neptune
God of the Sea
The most distant planet in our solar system and the windiest — winds on Neptune reach speeds of over 2,100 km/h, the fastest in the solar system. Its vivid blue colour comes from methane in its atmosphere absorbing red light. Neptune has only been visited by one spacecraft — Voyager 2 — which flew past in 1989.
Distance from Sun 4.5B km
Orbital Period 165 years

☀ Aryan Star
The Heart of a Fictional Universe
A blazing G-type yellow dwarf of mythic proportions, the Aryan Star burns at the centre of its own personal universe — warm, magnetic, and impossible to ignore. Scientists theorize that its gravitational pull doesn't just capture planets... it captures hearts. Every planet in this system owes its existence, its orbit, and honestly its whole personality to this one gloriously radiant star.

Rajni
The Romantic Neighbour
Rajni is the closest planet to the Aryan Star — and honestly, scientists say it got that position by sheer determination. It simply refused to orbit anywhere else.
💕 Classified Transmission from Planet Rajni

"Dear Aryan Star, every morning when your rays hit my surface, my volcanoes erupt — and honestly that's just my heart doing its thing. Scientists call it 'tidal heating.' I call it love. I orbit you 365 times a year not because gravity says so, but because I choose to. Also I may have rearranged all my mountain ranges to spell 'Aryan' but that's between me and the satellites. P.S. — I've been warming up my atmosphere specifically so you'd notice. It's working, right? 🌋❤️"

Fictional Planet II
Rahul
The Cool Blue World
Planet Rahul is known for its remarkably chill atmosphere — literally. Surface temperatures hover at a consistent "relaxed" level. Its inhabitants are reportedly the most laid-back beings in the known fictional universe, famous for solving complex problems by simply waiting for them to go away on their own. Scientists have awarded it the title: "Most Likely to Say 'It's Fine, Don't Worry.'"

Palav
The Lush Green World
Palav is entirely covered in the most magnificent jungle ecosystem in the galaxy. The planet produces 3,000% more oxygen than it needs, which explains why every visiting alien immediately feels a strange urge to open a wellness retreat. Its inhabitants have 47 different words for "leaf" and take it personally when anyone doesn't appreciate nature. They are also responsible for the universe's best fictional biryani — made entirely from cosmic herbs.

Reynold
The Bold & Fiery World
Reynold is the most dramatically theatrical planet in the system. Its sunsets last exactly 3 hours and are widely considered the most extra thing in the fictional cosmos. Its inhabitants make every single entrance accompanied by their own personal wind (they installed the machines themselves). Reynold once declared war on a neighbouring asteroid simply because it "looked at us funny." Peace was restored when someone offered snacks.

Heena
The Graceful Purple World
Planet Heena is the most aesthetically refined world in the system — its cities look like someone fed "luxury" into an AI and hit generate, but it actually turned out gorgeous. Its inhabitants are known for their encyclopedic memory, ability to remember every detail of every conversation ever, and their slightly terrifying gift of bringing it up at exactly the right moment. Also they invented glitter. The universe has not recovered.

Rohit
The Wise Outer World
Being the farthest planet from the Aryan Star gives Rohit a rare superpower: perspective. Its inhabitants see the whole solar system at once and have been known to predict arguments between the other planets before they happen (and place bets on them). Rohit holds the system record for most unsolicited good advice and also runs a surprisingly popular podcast called "Things I Can See From Here." Currently on episode 4,712.
